Jeff and Reg Messenger, brothers and friends, are third generation owners of Wood Products, Inc. Growing up just a mile from the mill, Reg and Jeff were fascinated with the manufacturing of wood products and the capabilties of the machinery. Under the training of their father and late owner, Max Messenger, the brothers were soon running the business. They sought to expand on their father's successful corporation and branch off into new directions--and that is exactly what they did. In 2008, the brothers opened a sister company and showroom in Morgantown, WV, calling it Hardwood Interiors, Inc.
After earning his degree in engineering from WVU Reg went on to become a licensed contractor and has been building homes for over 30 years. Reg leads an installation team that tackles all facets of finish carpentry. His skill and attention to detail soon traveled by word of mouth and the company began to grow. With a team of design consultants and skilled carpenters, Hardwood Interiors, Inc. has sent thousands of orders to Wood Products, Inc. for production.
Filling those orders and constantly striving to be an industry standard for quality is brother Jeff Messenger. He also manages a team of foresters while overseeing production at the mill and cabinet shop. His efficiency and hard work ensures timely delivery of the customer's product. Jeff's knowledge of the industry is unmatched and he takes pride in the company's sustainable forestry practices. The sister companies thrive off one another and Reg and Jeff are the backbone of the entire operation.
Michele Messenger - Showroom Manager
Michele Messenger has been involved with Hardwood Interiors, Inc. since the beginning. Michele has worked for over 30 years in new home construction/remodel as well as kitchen and bath design. Michele loves to cook and bake for her family and friends, so she understands the importance of a beautiful, yet functional kitchen.
Michele received a Bachelor of Science Degree from West Virginia University. Her professional knowledge and skill provide her clientele with unrivaled design consultation and customer service. From start to finish, Michele oversees each project and takes great pride in listening to her client's wants and needs in order to deliver a top-notch product that results in a picture-worthy space.
dave weaver - designer
Dave Weaver is the cabinet expert that has all the answers. With over 50 years of experience in construction, there is nothing he can't design. Seldom will you find Dave without his architectural scale, mechanical pencil, graph paper, and calculator. He will beautifully design and draw any project to scale--from kitchen cabinets to an entire home addition.
Dave's knowledge of construction stems from his love of woodworking and critical thinking. In his free time, Dave enjoys working in his shop. In fact, he recently finished building and installing his own kitchen cabinets. But if he isn't working in his shop, he is likely fixing up his 1963 Chevy Impala Convertible.
Michelle brown - designer
Michelle Brown is a West Virginia native and a Fairmont State University alumni where she received two Bachelors of Science degrees in Architecture and Interior Design. She started working for Hardwood Interiors due to her passion for kitchen and bath design as well as a passion for remodeling. With her background, Michelle has used a variety of design software and programs allowing her to create the most realistic visuals which she uses to bring the customers’ dreams to life before construction ever begins.
Michelle loves to explore new places and always tries to capture them with whatever camera she has at her fingertips. This has led to a passion for traveling, where she continuously hunts for the most eye-catching architecture and designs she can find to pull inspiration. She loves to take unique photos of these places in order to capture the feelings and inspiration that was invoked so she can use them to help her impart the same creativity and inspiration in her own designs
